Novato has two fantastic farmers’ markets for you to visit. Every Tuesday evening from May through October for the Downtown Novato Farmers’ Market, located in the heart of downtown Novato on Sherman Avenue between Grant Avenue and De Long Avenue – right in front of Novato’s iconic City Hall. The market runs from 4pm – 8pm from May through October 29th. The Novato Hamilton Landing Farmers’ Market, located at Hamilton Landing between Hanger 6 & 7. The market is every Thursday from 11am – 3pm, June 8th through December 21st.
Enjoy an abundance of fresh produce from local farms, fresh prepared foods, locally produced cheese and honey, sweet kettle corn, and much more. If you stay for dinner, there’s something for everyone including Thai food, rotisserie chicken, Himalayan and Yucatan foods, BBQ, and more.
Beyond food, Novato Farmers’ Market offers pony rides and bounce houses for the kids and live music for the whole family. The market is also a great place to find a little something to bring back home including hand-made jewelry, knit hats, and pottery.
