Tree Planting at Stafford Lake Bike Park

Join Marin County Parks in planting native grasses and trees at Stafford Lake Bike Part. The work will improve wildlife habitat along with park aesthetics and the erosion of bike park feature.

Recommended for ages 12 and up; anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a supervising adult. Dress in layers you can get dirty, wear sturdy shoes, and bring water. Questions or to RSVP: Contact Volunteer Coordinator Kirk Schroeder at KSchroeder@marincounty.org or (415) 763-2977.

Rain or heavy wind may cancel. If questionable weather, call (415) 763-2977 on morning of to check event status.

Directions: From Hwy 101 in Novato, take the exit for San Marin Dr west 2.9 miles. Turn right onto Novato Blvd and follow for 2.6 miles. The park is on the left. Turn right after the gate house and follow to the last parking lot.
