On August 22nd, bike enthusiasts from around the Bay Area will be swarming to Novato’s Stafford Lake for the grand opening of the Stafford Lake Bike Park. Located on an impressive 17 acres of Novato parkland, this innovative facility is the first of its kind in the North Bay – a custom-designed bike park providing progressive riding opportunities and experiences for riders of all ages and skill levels.
The Phase I installment of the park will be open to the public for the event, and includes a progression jump course, dual slalom track, and a perimeter trail. In addition, attendees will be able to hear from guest speakers, mingle with park sponsors, listen to live music, enjoy refreshments, and donate to the future park phases.
If you’re a bike fan, come join Novato in celebrating the opening of this great new resource for fun on two wheels. Festivities will be taking place on August 22nd from 10 am to 2 pm and will be free of charge.
