Senior Stroll at Bahia

Sunday, June 24, 2018

We’ll take advantage of the dappled shade and venture into the open oak woodland at the edge of San Pablo Bay wetlands to watch for adult birds tending their young, butterflies patrolling the trails, and some late season flowers. We’ll explore the Bahia Trail which is a fairly level, single-track trail. Remember to bring binoculars, if you have them.

This walk is for ages 18 and up. We request that no pets (except service animals) attend.

High fire danger cancels: Call (415) 893-9527 after 8am on the day of the event to hear a recorded messaged if cancelled.

No registration is required.

DIRECTIONS: From Hwy 101 in Novato, take the exit for Atherton Ave east approximately 1 mile. Turn left onto Bugeia Ln, which turns into Bahia Dr at the “y”. Follow Bahia Dr approximately 0.5 miles. Meet at the Bahia trailhead near the end of Bahia Dr in Novato.
