Senior Stroll at Bahia

Thursday, April 25, 2019

We’ll take advantage of the dappled shade and venture into the open oak woodland at the edge of San Pablo Bay wetlands. Wildflowers dot the lush grassland, the fresh leaves of the trees are alive with birds, and butterflies move across the landscape. We’ll explore the Bahia Trail which is a fairly level, single-track trail. Remember to bring binoculars, if you have them.

This walk is for ages 18 and up. We request that no pets (except service animals) attend.

Rain may cancel: Call (415) 893-9527 after 8am on the day of the event to hear a recorded messaged if cancelled.

No registration is required.

DIRECTIONS: Meet at the Bahia trailhead near the end of Bahia Dr in Novato. From Hwy 101 in Novato, take the exit for Atherton Ave east approximately 1 mile. Turn left onto Bugeia Ln, which turns into Bahia Dr at the “y”. Follow Bahia Dr approximately 0.5 miles.

FOR PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES: Events and locations may have limited accessibility

QUESTIONS: Contact Shannon Burke at Sburke@marincounty.org or (415) 893-9520.
