The Novato City Hall opens its doors for the first of four free acoustic community concerts, with Jerry Hannan, a Marin County singer/songwriter who recorded a song with Pearl Jam’s Eddie Vedder that was featured in Sean Penn’s film, Into The Wild. Described as offering “Americana with a faint Irish lilt”, Jerry is sure to evoke shades of Bob Dylan, Bruce Springsteen and a little Van Morrison as he presents a night of songs and storytelling. This is an all-ages show, with a no-host bar featuring beverages from Novato’s own Finnegan’s bar. Doors open at 5:30 with music from 6 till 8.
