Novato Arts Center – Artists Open Studios

Over forty artists will exhibit their work at the Novato Arts Center Open Studios event, which takes place the first weekend in March. Marin has a vibrant artistic community, and art lovers will be able to meet artists, watch them at work, purchase work and take part in interactive demonstrations. Learn about watercolor techniques, stone sculpting techniques, painting with beeswax and more, or simply enjoy some food, wine and artistic appreciation.

The Arts Center Campus is located on the historic Hamilton Airfield, and features 1930s, Spanish-style architecture. In addition to the Open Studios event, it’s the home of the Marin Museum of Contemporary art, which currently features exhibits on cartoonist Phil Frank and photographer Ken Botto.

This is a wonderful opportunity to enjoy art in beautiful surroundings in Marin, and the Arts Center will be open from 11am till 4pm, on both days. The next Open Studios will take place the first weekend in November.
