Touring to promote their fifth album, Luvplanet feature Nicole Sutton and Mark McGhee blending vocal harmonies and guitar virtuosity. The band, who hail from Sonoma County, play their own blend of rock, pop, blues and country. Their visit to the HopMonk promises a night of uplifting songs and a fair amount of impressive musicianship — guitarist/vocalist McGhee toured and recorded with gregg Allman for more than a decade and has a hard-rock past with former major-label rockers Vicious Rumors.
