History Hike at Olompali State Park

Sunday, April 14, 2019

Join leader Suzanne Weakley for an easy to moderate three-mile roundtrip history hike at Olompali State Park. The hike features stunning views over the Petaluma River and a visit to a reconstructed Miwok village.

We’ll meet near the main parking lot. There is a restroom near the parking lot. Caltrans has recently reconfigured the entrance to the park. To get to the park now, you must exit 101 at the Atherton-San Marin exit and proceed north on the 101 frontage road on the west side of the freeway.

$8/vehicle park entrance fee (exact cash required).

Rain cancels. Bring water, lunch, dress in layers, and wear good hiking shoes. Bring poles if you normally use them.

If you have questions about this outing email Ken Lavin or phone (415) 543-6771 x 321.
