After years of sold out events in Santa Barbara and Paso Robles, Garagiste Wine Festival is heading up to Sonoma for their first Northern California installment. But what is a “garagiste”? A garagiste is a term that originated in the Bordeaux region of France to criticize small-lot wineries who create very limited production wines. Today, the term is used in pride to celebrate the beautiful, handcrafted wines that can only be made in very limited quantities. At this event you’ll be exposed to over 40 lesser known wineries and winemakers, all of whom are excited to share their wines and story with you.
