Fresh Starts Chef Events: Shelley Lindgren & Kate Leahy with Italian Wine

Join us to toast a new book on Italian wine from Shelley Lindgren, award-winning wine director and owner of San Francisco’s beloved A16 restaurant, and author/chef Kate Leahy. This special event will offer food to match from the Southern Italian fare that has drawn fans for two decades to A16 restaurant.

The menu at this event will feature: bruschetta two ways; braised salmon with basil, almonds, lemon and chicory salad; cannoli with ricotta, candied orange and pistachio.

At A16, Shelley Lindgren received the James Beard Award for Outstanding Wine Service and has been knighted by the Italian government. Kate Leahy, also a trained chef, is author and coauthor of more than a dozen books, including “Wine Style” and “Burma Superstar.”
