Part of the HopMonk’s Cookout Concert series, this is a rare opportunity to catch singer/songwriter Chuck Prophet in solo acoustic mode, and enjoy al fresco live music on a summer evening in the HopMonk’s beer garden. In the ’80’s, Prophet toured and recorded with the band Green on Red. He has since built a reputation as a solo artist, Nashville songwriter and sought-after guitarist. He recently brought his band Mission Express to the HopMonk stage at the Novato Festival of Art, Wine and Music.
Also appearing is “exuberantly soulful” Patrice Pike, a member of the Austin/Texas Music Hall of Fame, who hit the Billboard charts with the band Sister Seven, and has been following her own eclectic musical path since then.
