Carson Falls Hike

Thursday, February 8, 2018

Climb Pine Mountain Fire Road and descend from the ridge into a lush and shaded forest with ferns, milkmaids, and maybe even blooming fetid adder’s tongue. Enjoy your lunch beside a waterfall, one of the few remaining breeding grounds in Marin for the rare foothill yellow-legged frog.

This walk is for ages 18 and up. We request that no pets (except service animals) attend. Rain may cancel. If questionable weather, call (415) 893-9527 after 8am on the morning of the event to hear a recorded message if cancelled.

No registration is required.

QUESTIONS: Contact David Herlocker at (415) 893-9508.

DIRECTIONS: From Hwy 101 in Larkspur, take the exit for Sir Francis Drake Blvd west to Fairfax 5.3 miles. Turn left onto Pacheco Ave, turn right onto Broadway and make first left onto Bolinas Rd 3.8 miles (1.3 miles past the entrance to the Meadow Club). The parking area is on the left.

This event has ended.
