Braving Two Worlds at the Museum of the American Indian

An exciting look at contemporary Native art, featuring work by Allan Houser, Helen Hardin, and Dan Namingha. Selected from the collection of Malcom and Karen Whyte, these pieces tell the story of the existing dynamic between the Global Art world and the Native world, and how these artist have learned to bravely weave the two together. The exhibition takes place at Novato’s Museum of the American Indian in Miwok Park. Museum hours are Wed.-Sun. 12:30-4:30pm
