“50 Faces” Art Exhibit at Marin MOCA

“50 Faces” is a collection of modern mosaic artwork based around the portraiture of some of the world’s most iconic faces. Curated by Guglielmo Zanette and on display at Marin MOCA, this exhibition showcases the work of many young Italian artists dedicating their lives to preserving the tradition of their trade. Each piece is comprised of many fragments of bone, shell, metal, and fiber that are then combined with the traditional mosaic materials of marble and smalto to resemble such luminaries as Robin Williams, Jean-Michel Basquiat, and Frieda Kahlo. The expressive personalities captured in these stunning crafts will beguile all who see them.

Ticket prices are $10 for adults and $8 for both seniors 70+ and students 13-25.
