The Arthritis Training is joining forces with Whole Foods to be the first in a series of 4 Training Rides sponsored by Whole Foods.
Meet behind Terun at 448 S. California Street, CA 94306 at 8:30 am, roll out at 9:00. There is a Farmers Market in the front of the pizzeria, so please give yourself enough time to park. The finish lunch will be supplied courtesy of the Whole Foods Market on El Camino. We have ride leaders and safe routes planned with your safety in mind. Hope to see you there. Please reserve lunch and sign the waiver.
The Arthritis Bike Classic – Marin (ABC-Marin) presented by Abbvie is a spectacular, fully supported one-day cycling extravaganza. Our new location at Stafford Regional Bike Park, offers something for the entire family. Set on the shores of Stafford Lake in Novato, this 139-acre park offers shore fishing, the Terwilliger nature trail, an adventure playground, volleyball, disc golf course, and horseshoe courts.
The cycling stage of Marin County is well known for its natural beauty, stunning views, and roads with little traffic. Routes have been carefully planned for riders to experience the unique local culture and geography of Marin County. We provide fully-stocked and clearly marked rest stops, lunch, music, awards and tons of fun. All for a really good cause.
Participants can choose from four scenic routes: 23/41/61/102 miles.
Route maps are available in “Event Information”.
Early Bird: $75.00 valid through April 15, 2017.
Fee increases to $95 on April 16, 2017.
Thanks to our sponsors: Abbvie, Amgen and Webcor Builders.
Registration and fee are required to participate in the ride. We appreciate every rider and every fee paid, though that fee alone is not enough to reach our goal of $100,000. The Arthritis Foundation will offer incentives to encourage riders to raise additional funds. Reach the minimum goal of $300 and a jersey created just for this event will be yours. As your personal and team numbers grow, watch your names move up the leader board. Become one of the top 3 fundraisers or a member of a top 3 team and receive an award at the event.
