Get ready to wave those flags and sport your best red, white, and blue! This Fourth of July, the heart of downtown transforms into a sea of patriotic pride as friends and neighbors gather from across the Bay Area for a beloved hometown classic: The Novato Fourth of July Parade!
It’s more than just a march; it’s a high-energy celebration of community spirit, featuring vintage cars, festive floats, and local heroes. Just a few reminders:
- The Parade starts at 10:00 AM at Grant Ave. at Reichert Ave. & lasts two hours. Be sure to get there early to secure a spot
- Watch from the sidewalks anywhere along Grant Ave. from Reichert Ave. to 7th St.
- Bring chairs & remember they must can only be placed on the sidewalk (not in the street).
- No animals allowed, except for official support animals.
Buckaroo Breakfast – hosted by the Presbyterian Church of Novato
Kick off the 4th with the Buckaroo Breakfast, 7:00 AM -10:00 AM. at the Redwood Credit Union parking lot at 1010 Grant Ave, The always smiling and eager volunteers from the Presbyterian Church of Novato will serve traditional and gluten free pancakes, scrambled eggs, meat and vegetarian sausage, coffee and orange juice, in order to raise funds for North Marin Community Services, a non-profit community support agency.

Free, pre-Parade entertainment, starts at 9:00 AM & ends at 10:00 AM when the Parade begins. These are “warm-up” acts that get us all into a festive mood. If you arrive early – and you should – you (& especially children) will enjoy many wonderful entertainers.
