Winner of the Kerrville Folk Festival New Folk Award, he signed with A&M Records in 1989, selling over 100,000 copies of his debut, “How Did You Find Me Here.” With a warm baritone, open tunings, and deft technique, Wilcox has released over 20 records, including his 2018 album, “The View From the Edge,” which earned him the Grand Prize in the 2018 USA Songwriting Contest.
