Baker and chef Amy Brown of Marla in Santa Rosa presents recipes for late summer, embracing the season with locally sourced bounty. Her menu:

Chef Amy initially trained in Italy and has created delicious breads, pastries and locavore menus for the last 25+ years in the Bay Area. She gained acclaim as brunch and pastry chef at Nopa in San Francisco, then opened a brick-and-mortar restaurant and bakery of her own with husband Joe Wolf in San Francisco’s Outer Richmond neighborhood.
Located in Santa Rosa since 2020, Marla focuses on bread with a cafe menu that spans breakfast and lunch, plus Friday night specialty dinners and a popular Sunday Supper series.
