A founding member of the legendary punk band X, John Doe helped shape the Los Angeles punk scene of the late 1970s and has remained an influential voice in American music ever since. In addition to his work with X, Doe has released numerous solo albums and collaborated with artists such as Patty Griffin, Dan Auerbach, and Aimee Mann, blending punk roots with Americana and folk storytelling. Known for his powerful stage presence and decades-long career in music, film, and television, Doe brings an intimate live performance to HopMonk’s partially seated Session Room.
